      Do we need to migrate to CONTENT-HUB 2.0 or can we stay on 1.0?

      Alturos designed DESTINATION OS as a cohesive solution, integrating CONTENT-HUB as a crucial CMS component that cannot be replaced. Due to the inability to support multiple CMS options for DESTINATION OS, migration to CONTENT-HUB 2.0 is mandatory for all users. Alturos commits to facilitating a smooth transition process and will discontinue CONTENT-HUB V1.0’s technology stack starting April 1st.

      What did Alturos do to ensure a smooth migration and support of existing data?

      The updated CONTENT-HUB maintains the same API specifications at the Middleware layer, ensuring compatibility with existing integrations like JAMES Web and Apps. This consistency also extends to the content management API for seamless integration with EMMA and MYSERVICES. Comprehensive integration testing has been conducted to guarantee smooth operation.

      What has been the reason Alturos replaced the CONTENT-HUB 1.0 with CONTENT-HUB 2.0?

      While CONTENT-HUB 1.0 was valuable, moving forward to enhance Alturos’s technology landscape was necessary. Challenges with Destination OS integration in version 1.0 prompted Alturos to aim for quality and cost optimization. Adopting a new approach in the Content Management Layer and taking control of the technical stack were essential steps to address past quality issues, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective technology stack for tourism destinations.

      Are there any changes to the pricing of Alturos DESTINATION-OS due to CONTENT-HUB 2.0?
      No, there are no cost implications due to CONTENT-HUB 2.0 for existing customers.
      Where can I learn about CONTENT-HUB 2.0 to get training for our content managers?

      We have developed comprehensive documentation available on Alturos Academy and a video-based learning tutorial. These resources are designed to support users with detailed guides and visual instructions for an enhanced learning experience.

      Is there a lot of training for our content managers necessary to learn handling the new CONTENT-HUB 2.0?

      The transition training for CONTENT-HUB 2.0 is minimal, as the system remains similar to CONTENT-HUB 1.0 with improvements that are largely intuitive. Most features are comparable, and the administration tool retains its familiarity to minimize the need for extensive training. To facilitate a smooth migration, we will provide training materials and a comprehensive “What is Different” list to all existing customers, ensuring they can adapt quickly and efficiently.

      Are there new features and upcoming inventions build into CONTENT-HUB 2.0?

      We have build CONTENT-HUB 2.0 to be able to innovate with it. You can expect lots of cool features in the future, especially using AI to enable content managers to do their work much easier and faster. But not only CONTENT-HUB 2.0 will benefit from these inventions, also MYSERVICES will have a much smoother live interacting with CONTENT-HUB as well as JAMES Apps will do. After initial migration efforts, we expect a quality and stability improvements to come in place because of how CONTENT-HUB is build and the fact that Alturos now is enabled to further improve and enrich this tech layer without third party dependancies.

      After migration to CONTENT-HUB 2.0, can we still use a API to access data?

      Yes, all pre-existing and licensed API access will continue to operate as it did with version 1.0.
