About us

Alturos Destinations, a prominent travel tech software provider, is seeking to expand its dynamic sales team by recruiting an experienced Key Account Manager for the DACH region. We specialise in creating cutting-edge solutions for touristic destination e-commerce marketplaces, incorporating elements of gamification and entertainment.

Alturos Destinations is part of the publicly traded Constellation Software Inc. (CSU) and belongs to the Juniper Group Portfolio.

We want to strenghten our dynamic team with a Key Account Manager for the DACH-region.

Your tasks

  • Drive sales by promoting existing optional software modules to current customers within the Destination OS  Mountain Edition.
  • Organize and execute customer events, webinars, and campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing team to bolster sales strategies.
  • Provide expert consultation to customers on the advantages of new module integrations.
  • Identify and cultivate business opportunities, leading to expansion and client retention.
  • Offer regular support to existing clients, involving approximately 40% travel within the DACH region.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM tool, Apollo.

Your profile

  • Strong technical aptitude with a keen interest in selling advanced technical products.
  • Proven sales background, preferably within the software, tourism industry, or with cable car companies.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling ecommerce solutions, touristic applications, or travel distribution platforms.
  • Exceptional persuasion, communication, and negotiation skills in both German and English.
  • Highly selfmotivated and proactive, capable of working independently and achieving results.
  • Readiness to travel extensively within the DACH region.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly and integrate them into the sales process.
  • Knowledge of additional European languages could be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using digital sales tools and platforms, including advanced CRM systems.
  • Strategic planning skills, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience as a sales professional within the tourism or transport industry is an advantage.
